Marking one year of practice HR support
The People Services team at One Care is celebrating a full year of providing a dedicated HR support function to practices, as an expansion of the organisation’s core membership offer.
Since launching in September 2025, the HR support service has helped roughly 75 per cent of its member practices with a HR case or query.
On average, the service deals with 40 enquiries per month, including day-to-day HR advice and queries. Roughly a quarter of enquiries per month are linked to complex HR casework and queries, including employee relations, disciplinaries and investigations, plus bigger projects like organisational change and forward planning.
The team also held a series of HR workshops for members, allowing practice managers and other colleagues to learn more about HR best practice and develop their own people management skills.
Gertruda Grudyte, One Care’s HR business partner, has provided hands-on support to practices since the service launched. She said: “I’m really proud to have delivered 18 workshops attended by more than 150 participants from practices across the network. It has been a great opportunity to meet so many managers and, hopefully, support their development and confidence in people management.
“Dedicated HR support is really adding value to One Care’s membership offer, and I’m really looking forward to continuing to support practices in the future.”
