What we do

One Care is the GP federation and representative body for general practice in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG). We help our member practices and Primary Care Networks (PCNs) run strong, sustainable businesses by providing services, cost savings and supporting innovation that improves care. Our GP Collaborative Board provides a forum for general practice to shape system priorities, while our Clinical Leads support GP integration with community and acute services.

We also deliver projects and programmes that drive innovation, improve ways of working, or solve challenges faced by general practice. As a Community Interest Company (CIC), we only take on contracts that benefit general practice and any surplus income is reinvested into member services and helps keep our subscription as low as possible.

Business intelligence

We use our expertise in general practice data to support our practices directly as well as to influence effective decision-making about the health of our local population. Each of our members is able to access their own dashboard, which is updated regularly with key information about activity and performance in their practice. General practice support and operations

We help our member practices manage successful and efficient businesses by providing expert support, advice, and resources. Our knowledge and expertise can help save your practice time and money and improve your patient care. We’re here to support you with day-to-day operational challenges and long-term strategic planning and change management. Our guidance and practical solutions cover the full range of practice issues - from regulatory compliance and quality standards, to patient journey / process mapping, and practice finances. Digital

We provide bespoke digital support to our practices, helping them to resolve issues and improve efficiencies. We also produce and share high-quality digital resources, ensuring consistency across our area and reducing the administrative burden on practices. Transformation and strategy

We support general practice to pilot initiatives that support innovation and new models of care. We work closely with our partners across the local health and care system to enable transformation and improvements to patient care, ensuring general practice is properly resourced and represented within these programmes of work.
