Access, resilience and quality programme

Overview

Nationally, general practice is facing significant challenges in providing the required level of capacity to meet increased demand.

In BNSSG, we have been providing a general practice resilience programme in partnership with the Integrated Care Board (ICB), which has been delivering tangible results for two years. Funded through the winter access programme, we are now working with the ICB and Avon Local Medical Committee (LMC) to deliver an enhanced version of the previous general practice resilience programme with an increased focus on access.

Using the learning from this work, we will be developing and sharing best-practice guidance with all practices, covering: sustainability, finance, access, workforce, digital workflow and quality.
